Wynnewood is extremely convenient as it is one of the closest Main Line communities to Philadelphia. While more congested than Main Line communities father west, Wynnewood still has wonderful scenery and historic houses. Excellent schools, low crime, and a high quality of living while being an extremely close commute to Philadelphia by train or car, makes this upscale community a great place to purchase real estate. Many beautiful stone colonials and stable housing stock make it an ideal place to buy. While primarily residential, Wynnewood offers clusters of shopping. Wynnewood residents are very close to those of the neighboring Main Line community of Ardmore, even sharing a civic assosciation known as ArdWood. The two towns share the same county, township and school systems as well as having a park located partly in Ardmore and partly in Wynnewood called South Ardmore Park. |
