Much like Gladwyne and Bala Cynwyd, Penn Valley is not located along the original Main Line railroad, and has become a Main Line town by being adjacent to original Main Line communities and sharing similar traits, rather than because it was along the original Seta R5 line. Penn Valley is a distinct affluent community. Not much information is available regarding Penn Valley, so it is easy to think of it more as spillover from neighboring Gladwyne. Despite sharing many similarities with Gladwyne, Penn Valley is considered a distinct community. Penn Valley is located entirely within Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County, with all students attending the Lower Merion School District. With a layout and housing often similar to Gladwyne, Penn Valley is an expensive and exclusive place to live. Penn Valley's prime location within the Main Line make it a breeze for commuting to Center City Philadelphia. With rolling hills, large homes, including some wonderful contemporaries, Penn Valley is an excellent place to live and choose as a place to invest your real estate money. |
